Dear Colleagues,

The 3rd Health Level Seven (HL7) Australia Conference on Clinical Decision Support Standards will provide an effective forum for HL7 users, clinicians with Health Information technology needs and those interested in the HL7 approach to healthcare system interoperability. Clinical Decision Support and the standards utilised to effectively implement it is the core topic of our 3rd HL7 Australia Conference. Learn the HL7 methodologies, their relationship to the clinical settings and get an update on the latest developments in the HL7 domain from noted international experts. See detailed Program below .

Presentations, Tutorials and Workshops will give in-depth information on the HL7 Decision Support Standards and the underlying infrastructure.  At the same time, the relevance of the technologies will be put into a clinical and a management context.

Note: We will explore the possibilities of setting up a Technical Committee to progress the localisation and implementation of clinical decision support standards in Australia.

We very much look forward to seeing you in Sydney and again expect a productive atmosphere of sharing HL7 innovations as well as technical and clinical experience.  By working together we can ensure that clinical information needs are met through the achievement of system interoperability.
