Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to our two-day 2008 Conference will provide you with updates on the latest developments in CDA and its use within the growing IHE work in Australia and Asia-Pacific, in particular the IHE Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) which will be demonstrated at the IHE Interoperability Showcase during the HIC' 08 and Health-e-Nation exhibitions in Melbourne Aug. 31 - Sept. 3. (see www.IHE.net.au)

Also, the IHE-style Australian Pathology Profiles will be outlined in light of the recently released NPAAC guidelines that are expected to significantly affect pathology messaging implementations in Australia.

"Archetypes in V2.x" and "The New V2.x Referral/Discharge Message" sessions will introduce these new Standards Australia documents.
