HL7 Australia's inaugural Work Group Meeting is being held in Brisbane on 11 April 2016. All members and interested parties are invited to come and participate in the new Standards Development Initiative, and meet our new Technical Steering Committee and Co-Chairs.
This event will kickoff an exciting new chapter for HL7 Australia and Australian health standards development, with the start of Working Group Meetings (WGM) that will include not only opportunities for hands on involvement with emerging standards, but also education, key notes speakers, including international guests, and networking opportunities. HL7 Australia is committed to building a strong collaborative environment, and it is anticipated that this goal will be supported by regular Australian Working Group Meetings.
The first WGM will introduce you to the strategy behind the Standards Development Initiative, the infrastructure supporting each Work Group and an opportunity to meet the Technical Steering Committee and Co-Chairs. Each Work Group will be able to accept project proposals at this event and is an ideal time for any HL7 Australia members or interested parties to submit ideas for new standards or supporting resources.
HL7 Australia members are encouraged to come to this free event to be part of history in the making. Opportunities to mingle and network with other like-minded people will also be available throughout the day - mix with jurisdictions, implementers, standards developers and software vendors.
To end the day, a networking reception will be held from 4pm - 5pm to allow you to wind down and share your ideas in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
